With over 32 years of experfience in Oncology, she serves as Head Oncology Nurse, overseeing patient care, medical authorisations and facility accreditation. Her approach is rooted in patient safety, education, and holistic support, ensuring both patients and their families feel cared for every step of the journey. Passionate about Oncology, she is dedicated to creating a space where every patient feels safe, informed, valued and never alone.
Sister Marlise Swart
Oncology Nurse
Marlise is a registered nurse with 18 years of experience at the Cancer Care & Breast Centre, playing a key role in pharmacy management, chemotherapy preparation and the administration of treatments. Her approach is centred on patient safety, education and compassionate care, ensuring each patient feels supported and valued. Inspired by a personal family experience with cancer, she is passionate about creating a space where patients feel safe, at home and never alone on their journey.

Oncology Nurse
Tessa is a registered nurse who entered oncology care in 2023, with a focus on chemotherapy treatment and clinical safety. Her approach is deeply patient-centred, recognising cancer as a life-changing journey that affects not only the body, but also the emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing of both patients and their families. She is passionate about providing holistic, compassionate care, ensuring every patient feels seen, supported and never like just a number throughout their treatment journey.
Giancarlo Coccia
Trials Coordinator | Head of Technology
With over 15 years of experience in Oncology, he holds qualifications in IT and a BCom Honours degree and serves as Head of Technology and Clinical Trial Coordinator. He oversees clinical trial operations while driving technological innovation within the practice, ensuring patients have access to the latest advancements in cancer care.
Passionate about excellence and compassionate, he is dedicated to delivering a patient experience rooted in dignity, hope and world-class care.

With over 10 years of experience in an Oncology Pharmacy environment, Engela is a qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant with expertise in both pharmacy operations and medical accounts. She plays a key role in managing patient billing and medical aid processes, helping to ease the financial aspects of cancer care. Known for her warm and compassionate approach, she is dedicated to ensuring patients feel supported, understoodand never alone throughout their journey.

Tani Grobler
Patient Liaision | Breasties For Life
Tani is a Breast Cancer Overcomer who was diagnosed in September 2019 and received treatment at the Cancer Care & Breast Centre. Through her own journey, alongside her father’s battle with lung cancer, she experienced firsthand the importance of compassionate, personal care where patients are treated as people, not numbers. Today, she and her husband, Stéfan, are actively involved in the management of the centre, helping create a supportive and patient-centered environment for every person who walks through the doors. A small, intimate space where every patient is know, valued and cared for like family.

Nic is the Founder and Director of Aquila Fortis Consulting and the Managing Director for the Cancer Care & Breast Centre. With nearly 30 years of experience in labour law, governance, compliance, and leadership, he has held senior executive roles across multiple sectors. Passionate about integrity, strategy and people-centred leadership, he is committed to building organisations rooted in excellence, compassion and strong governance.
